The Scientist (Coldplay cover)

Come up with this new cover of Coldplay, The Scientist. =) The next time I will do a cover, I will surely include my video. Let's have a great Sunday ahead.

Patterns, colors and friends

Writing up my first entry for October on a first day of the week. What's happening around?

Let us all welcome the total wanna-be ANTM.  Just playing around a little lost-junkie-heels (picture from the right)

Stunning Pamper Tuesday: It's a holiday!

Last Monday (April 30, 2012) I got my first salary for working in DOTC (two weeks time). I've never been this proud of myself (ever in my life). That (magical) feeling when everything you've worked hard for has been paid off (for waking up early, preparing food for lunch, doing office works, coming home late)

How I spent the money?

"The long wait is over"

We already watched the much-awaited Avengers in 3D. It was our first time (my brother and I) in 3D and we're really amazed! Halos 'di naiwasan ng kapatid ko ang mapahiyaw at mapatawa sa sinehan. And I'm happy that he enjoyed it! Six superheroes for the price of one ticket. Awezzzummm! Plus, the movie's sense of humor burst us out into laughter. Unforgettable 3D experience, indeed.

Dinner from World Chicken: boneless chicken with teriyaki sauce, japanese rice and fettuccine. Nomnom!

Too much of a Lesson

Monday morning. Excited to start the week enthusiastically. Hard time looking for what to wear. Arrived at the office late for about a few minutes.

12:40
I went up for urgent meeting. My co-trainees were saying "pinapalista ka ni Ma'am Lotta kasi wala daw collar damit mo saka bakit daw naka-shortpants ka". Blah blah blah. Sir Gani, assigned to watch over the GIP trainees, talked about our salary, ID, attendance and stuff. He called my attn saying I'm not wearing the right clothes for the office. (what's right to wear and what is not anyway?) Miss Lotta actually mentioned it last Thursday on our orientation program BUT "wearing loose fitting short pants" was NOT INCLUDED. Hindi lang yan, pinatayo pa ako sa harap ng mga co-trainees  for about 5 minutes. Standing in front, looking extremely embarrassed, I just smiled and said sorry for wearing those. Pinaupo na ako. Stayed calm like nothing really happened.

Back to my department. I was very excited (nothing to brag about) to say what just happened on the 15th. Miss Bea felt really bad about it, about what that HR guy did to me, IN FRONT OF PEOPLE! I was like "it's ok, it's my fault" well in fact it's not! (i just wore what's proper, FOR ME but of course acceptable with everybody in this company)

5:12 before leaving the office. Went to the rack. Bundy. Time out. Officer in the HRD asked me to be in her office immediately. I was thinking of maybe she's going to asked me over again but it's not. (btw she's the one who interviewed me on the first screening. In short, kilala niya ako) After the long talks, she said sorry for what happened, t'was a mistake. Idk why i felt like crying that moment pero mas na-feel ko na pahiyang pahiya pala ako. I just realised: okay lang mapagsabihan for what you did (for them) wrong, it's more humane. But the fact that he did it in front of people, THAT'S TOO MUCH. But in the end of the day, I learned my lesson :) Not to wear loose fitting short pants? NO! Follow THEIR rules. :)
